The team was assigned to investigate a break in at secure facility XFS4532 in New York. Everyone there was killed. An important item called ebony star (believed to have the ability to open quantum singularities) was stolen by group of 3 men. Security footage showed the 3 men extruding tentacles and killing everyone. They appeared unaffected by gunfire. They were tracked to a subway but disappeared between stations. The subway train left at 13 minutes past midnight.

The form of their attacks were similar to that of malvolants from the reef. They were unaffected by normal munitions but could be hurt by fallsteel from Earth 3. The Ebony star was periodically marked and Jaroslaw determined it was currently on Earth 13. A broken room to Earth 3 was known to be in the womens restroom at a service station on I80 in Ohio.

The team were flown to Cleveland and drove to the service station then took the room to Earth 3.

The group arrived on Earth 3 in the ruins of a restroom. In the distance was the sound of a generator and some voices. There was a group sitting found a fire in an oil drum. A woman called Ann Monroe was helpful and gave advice. She said to stay out of the rain as it was acidic, not to trust anyone and not to eat long pig. She knew where Falsteel could be found 5 kilometres but it was guarded by a group of Iron kings who dug it up. Their leader was Ramona Kalderos [Jaroslaw had dealt with her variant self on Earth 1] She was a criminal who raided and stole from others.

The group set out. The going was hard and slow. Three individuals were seen moving into an ambush position and were engaged. One was hit but they turned and ran when a shower of meteorites appeared in the sky. They were followed to a hatch in the ground. The injured one was slow and Jack killed him as he tried to enter the hatch. He then descended into the hatch and killed another then threw a grenade at some others. The others followed with Brian getting in moments before the first of the meteors impacted.

Another was killed by Jack after Brian grappled him. The meteor storm lasted ten minutes. Two other individuals, a mother and son were captured. They seemed upset their husband/father was killed. They gave away the fact they were Iron kings and some of the tunnels lead to their base after some questioning. The woman annoyed Jack so he cold bloodedly killed her son then Brian knocked her out. [Need to schedule more therapy for Jack]

Jack and Brian followed some tracks towards the base finally arriving at a ladder leading upwards which lead into a room with a man sitting on a chair. He said he would take the group to Ramona but without weapons. Jaroslaw and Gideon went, leaving Jack and Brian in the room. After negotiating she was given 3 assault rifles, two pistols and two grenades in exchange for the felsteel.

While waiting for the steel to be packed Jaroslaw and Gideon spoke with a monarch agent called King. He offered that they could join monarch and save themselves as a convergence event was due on August 13th of this year. [This requires further investigation] Also that monarch could save them from becoming exiles at the convergence which was described as bad.

After receiving the felsteel the group journeyed back to Earth 1.

The felsteel was turned into ammunition and melee weapons. The thieves of the Ebony Star were believed to have taken an Iron train from the Courtland St. subway station leaving from the south platform at 00:13am and it was believed one could arrive once an hour.

They caught the 4:13pm train. Suddenly the train stopped and it was realised no-one else on the train was moving. Then the doors opened. Another train was visible down the track so the group quickly made their way to it. It started moving off but everyone got on board. The train looked to be made of falsteel. The carriage was filled with mail bags. Gideon examined one and found it to be full of glass balls. When he picked one up he experience a hallucination from his childhood.

The door at the end of the cartridge opened and the guard entered. He said Gideon would have to pay a penalty fare for corrupting one of the tickets. He then said everyone had to leave the mail cartridge. There were seats in the next cartridge. The guard took a memory from everyone for their fare. Gideon spoke to one of the other passengers who said he was retiring by the beech and this was his third convergence.

Sirens went off and the guard came running in saying the train was under attack and for everyone to man the guns. Jaroslaw and Brian went into turrets and fired on two huge malvolents but ducked back down when they fired a volley of black blobs that hit the train. When the train entered a tunnel the all clear was sounded. They were given upgrades to 1st class for helping.

The train stopped at Point pleasant gate station. Jaroslaw and Gideon found themselves on the platform. Jack pulled the emergency chord when the train started moving again and pleaded with the guard to let him off. He then suddenly appeared next to Jaroslaw. Brian found himself in mist. He was attacked by a flying saucer but drove it off by throwing a grenade into its hatch. He then found himself falling and dropped out of the clouds and plummeted towards the ground. He used his moving meridian to slow down and Gideon used his blocking meridian to catch him. Once he was on the ground the flying saucer flew off.

There was a town nearby and the ebony star was sensed to be in the clock tower. As they approached Jaroslaws brother Valentyn (who died at the time of Jaroslaws fall event) appeared from behind it followed by Sensi and Steve Riggs. They had some story about nothing being real and everyone sharing a group hallucination. Jack fired at them but nothing happened. Jaroslaw ignored them and walked past to the tower, using his opening meridian to open a door into the tower.

Inside the tower was many different objects and parts of the clock mechanism. Jaroslaw spotted the ebony star inside and pulled it out. His brother and the other two kept trying to persuade them to stop and Brian finally got annoyed enough to shoot Riggs in the head. He used felsteel rounds and the Riggs figures face split into an oily black mass. They then dropped all pretence and attacked.

They were killed but Gideon was wounded in the fight. Afterwards some villagers appeared. They thanked the group for saving them from the malvolents and said they had been drawn to the reality engine (the clock tower). Jaroslaw went back inside and found a [watch]. The rest of the group then went looking and found [watches] themselves.

After Jack had finished alienating the villagers they went back to the train station. There was a guard that said the second train went to Courtland St. They got on the train but were thrown off again as the guard claimed it was not going to Courtland St. The following train eventually stopped at Courtland St.
