A high ranking member of monarch called Tashiro Yasuoka contacted regency. He was a member of interixx, their inner circle, and wished asylum. He was in an arctic research facility on Earth 7. The team was tasked to contact him and return him to regency alive at all costs. He provided information of his location on the base and an escape tunnel from the basement to the surface. The nearest broken room was inside a glacier in a cavern network. It was believed that monarch had an artefact capable of summoning and controlling a malvolent. If possible the team was also to acquire it.

The journey north to the broken room took a week on an icebreaker ship. The broken room was in a cave. When the room cycled Jaroslaw spotted a trail of blood leading towards where the tunnel was believed to be. There was also a broken assault rifle on the ground. Brian saw bear tracks. The trail curved away from the tunnel but sounds could be heard from the tunnel. As the team rounded a corner they were confronted with a bipedal wolf creature which was feeding off the body of a guard. They attacked it with felsteel rounds. The creature attacked then shattered into a cloud of snow and ice then blew away.

Brian repaired a damaged pass card he found on the body. Something started to reform from snow and ice in the tunnel entrance which Brian threw a grenade at. When the snow cleared the wolf creature could be seen. They opened fire again and it attacked before vanishing again. The team run up the tunnel. Jaroslaw opened the door at the end as howls were heard from behind.

The team got through the door and closed it as Brian summoned a wall of ice to block the tunnel. Through the door was the tunnel to the basement. Twenty yards into the tunnel was a dead guard lying on the floor. Further on was another door with another dead guard slumped against it. The door was ajar and lights could be seen beyond. There was a small room beyond the door with a hatch in the ceiling. Brian leapt up into the room above. There was a body of a woman in the room. Jaroslaw sensed a nearsider moving nearby. In the corridor was another female body. There was no one in Tashiro's room. An explosion was heard from outside and all the lights went off before emergency lighting flickered on a few seconds later. Brian opened a door to look outside and saw a vortex of snow forming into a figure. He slammed the door shut and fused it.

Jaroslaw was shot by a figure at the far end of the corridor who did not answer to challenges. He fired back with his venom pistol but the figure deflected the shot with a flash of white light. Gideon was shot when he tried jumping across the corridor. Jaroslaw threw a grenade down the corridor but Brian used his moving meridian to deflect it out a door. [Brian claimed he thought it was Tashiro even though he had fired first] He then charged down the corridor as Gideon threw a smoke grenade. The smoke was blown away quickly and Jaroslaw was shot again.

Jaroslaw and Gideon took cover in another room. Jaroslaw threw another grenade blowing the figure backwards. Gideon got shot as he crept into he adjoining room. Brian crept behind the figure who was holding a globe with a miniature representation of the base. He looked at Brian who was surrounded in a vortex of ice and frozen. He then walked up to Brian and put a gun to his head. Brian used his moving meridian to make the gun jam. He yelled in frustration and ran off. Jaroslaw used his opening meridian to open a hole in his heart then threw a grenade into the room where he had fled.

The figure fled down some stairs and crated a wall of ice behind him. The wolf creature attacked the team from behind. They opened fire with felsteel rounds and after a few shots it shattered into a cloud of ice. Jaroslaw used opening to try to disperse it but it slowly reformed even larger than before. It was shattered into ice again.

Jaroslaw sensed two nearsiders, one was probably the adversary heading to the broken room, and another some distance to the north. The team made their way to the garage and Jaroslaw started trying to fix the snowmobile there. Brian spread petrol down the approaching corridor and Gideon lit a small fire to warm the room slightly.

The wolf creature approached slowly then backed away when it sensed the petrol.

Gideon used mending on the snowmobile as the creature started breaking through one of the garage doors. Brian used his moving meridian to push it into the petrol filled corridor and Gideon threw his lighter at it. Jaroslaw drove the snowmobile through a garage door causing it to break down again. The creature charged the snowmobile, covered in fire.

More felsteel rounds shattered it and it collapsed into a melted puddle. The snowmobile was badly damaged by the creature but there was another outside that was less badly damaged. Gideon fixed it and the team drove north.

Tashiro was found buried in the show, unconscious and barely alive. Jaroslaw then drove back to the broken room while Gideon stabilised him.

At the broken room some motion detectors had been set, presumably to explosives. Jaroslaw disabled two of them and sped the room cycle time. The team escaped back to Earth 1 and were picked up by a helicopter.
