A package was delivered to regency HQ in New York. 2 photographs and a note and a finger. James Klein tied in a dark room, finger being amputated in the second photo. Finger was Carbon 13 tested as the Earth 1 James Klein. The team was tasked to make the exchange. Ibrahaim Davi was a Pakistanian nuclear physicist who was apprehended after going on a killing spree against neersiders. He was badly burned in an accident and is probably insane. His neerside ability is opening. He is to be fitted with a tracking device and marked with neersight.

Ibrahaim thought Brian was 'The emissary' and claimed the gods had burned him.

There was a small cargo plane in hanger 13 at the airport numbered AR013. There was a keyed broken room to earth 10 within the hanger. Boxes in the hanger were labelled Farzi import and export. There was a neersider in the plane. At 1pm the plane door opened revealing a masked man with an assault rifle over his shoulder. He said the team was to get on the plane. After some discussions with Brian everyone got on the plane. Jack then argued about where he would sit. When the guy raised his rifle Jack shot and killed him. In his pocket was a note saying climb to 30000 then drop to 13000.

There was a pilot in the cockpit who was not a neersider and was terrified. Jack told him to just do his job. Brian went to find some parachutes and was apprehended by a security guard. After an argument Brian attacked the guard who drew a pistol and shot Brian. Brian shot him back and intimidated him to surrender.

Jaroslaw appropriated some parachutes from the local club then the plane took off and climbed to 30000ft before diving to 13000ft.

The room cycled and the plane faded away. When the light faded the team found themselves inside a plane wreck in a forest. There were no other neersiders within detectable range. A trail lead to a road which had someone travelling in a car being towed by two horses. He said the road lead to Islamabad. He warned about crazy people called gazers. However the track Brian and Jack were following lead to the nearby town which was full of gazers.

There were three people with assault rifles guarding the town. They opened fire as the team approached.

They were killed but Ibrahaim was badly injured. In the town the tracks lead to a large building surrounded by a wall. There were sounds of horses inside. Brian shouted that we had come for Klein and someone sounding like Ellington answered. Someone sounding like Brian shouted from the roof. The exchange of Klein for Ibrahaim was made outside the compound but Jack then killed Ibrahaim just as he reached cover.

Everyone in the building opened fire as the team fled.

The team appropriated horses and rode off towards the broken room. Brian lagged behind so much that Jaroslaw had to slow the cycle time of the room. The persuers were held off until the room cycled and the tean were back in the plane on Earth 1. Kline was tested and proved to be the Earth 1 variant.
