An agent Leandro Hermosillo, currently assigned to Earth 10 reported an object which entered the atmosphere then crashed to earth and crashing into the southern end of Isla Santa Cruz off Baja in Mexico. He went to investigate but had has not reported back since. His last plan was to catch a steamship to the island. The mission was to find him and investigate. A broken room in a junkyard in the capital city of Baja, Luigi, could be used. It cycled every 7 hours but the crusher needs to be activated.

The team flew to Luigi and found the junkyard. The team gained entry and located the car crusher. There were dogs but Brian controlled them. There was an old man and boy operating the machinery. Gideon paid them $600 to disappear for the rest of the day. The team then activated the crusher at the correct time and travelled to Earth 10. Jaroslaw smoothed the ride and everyone arrived safely.

Brian found a stables and exchanged some medicine for three horses. The team rode towards the coast but were followed. As they neared the coast the three riders that were following started to gallop. Gideon turned and charged them prompting them to draw weapons. After a short firefight one was dead and a second was badly wounded. The third surrendered. They were dressed in military uniforms and appeared to be local militia. They had identification papers saying they belonged to 'La Familia'.

The team recovered 2 horses and some weapons from them before continuing to the coast. At the port the recovered rifles were traded for passage to the island. They were taken to the island which they were told was uninhabited. Jaroslaw Climbed a tree to view the surrounding area. He saw an area of fallen trees in the jungle and several tents about a quarter of a mile away.

On closer inspection there were about a dozen people around the tents staring at the sky. The crater was about 8ft deep and 40ft wide. There was evidence of something having been dragged out of the crater. There were some fragments left In the crater. One had DP/201 and part of the Russian flag on. The drag marks lead to the beach where there was evidence something heavy had been loaded onto a boat.

The team went back to the camp where Gideon healed one of the gazers. He said about 8 men had taken the object away. They had also shot Lendro in the leg and taken him. The men were members of La Familia from Haven compound on Isla San Jose to the south. The team built a raft and set sail for San Jose. About a third of the way across a whirlpool suddenly appeared and Brian sensed a broken room forming. Suddenly a yacht appeared from the whirlpool.

The team boarded the yacht. There were three bodies on the lower deck. When Jack tried to turn one over they animated and attacked the team. [They appear to have been drowned from Earth 9. Worrying as nanotech should not be able to work on Earth 10]. Another huge figure [apparently a hub from Earth 9] burst through a door and attacked Jaroslaw. They were defeated with difficulty. The gazer climbed aboard the yacht and when he ignored Jaroslaws order to get back on the raft, Jaroslaw shot him in the head. [Jaroslaw stated he believed there was a high risk he would have been infected by the earth 9 nanotech virus] The team set fire to the yacht then returned to the raft.

After another four hours the team drew near to Isle San Jose. A figure on horseback could be seen patrolling. The team moved further round the coast before making landfall at the base of a low cliff then made their way through the jungle towards Haven compound. A vehicle was seen driving into the compound under its own power and lights were seen inside Haven that appeared to steady to not have been electrical in nature. [This should be impossible on Earth 10, something very unusual appears to be happening] An individual patrolling was ambushed and killed so the team could obtain his uniform.

Gideon put it on and tried to approach the compound. He was challenged and had to flee while the rest of the team gave covering fire. Several hours later gunfire could be heard coming from the harbour. Figures could be seen emerging from the sea towards Haven. The team took advantage of the distraction to enter Haven unobserved. Nearsiders were detected in two buildings. Gideon approached and knocked out a guard outside. Inside was a prison. Leandro was found in one of the cells. He said he believed it was an old weather satellite that had crashed to earth and it might have important information about the aurora. He also warned monarch were in Haven and they had a juicer. [That would explain how the vehicle was powered]

He pointed out the building where he thought the satellite was taken. There was two guards outside. The team gained entrance through a window. The satellite was in the basement. There was four guards and three other in suits. Jack and Jaroslaw threw grenades while the Brian and Gideon opened fire killing three of the guards. The suited figures were nearsiders. One put up a shield, another cast a bolt of lightning at Jaroslaw and the third broke Gideons arm. Jack shot the blocker in the head, killing him. Jaroslaw then shot the juicer, killing him. The breaker broke Jacks arm before Gideon killed him. The remaining guard surrendered but Jack just executed him. [More therapy would appear to be in order]

Jaroslaw retrieved six of the eight tapes from the satellite before fleeing with the team from the attackers. They could be seen to be drowned and hubs from earth 9. The team fled the compound and took a steam ship back to the mainland and returned to Earth 1.

[Useful atmospheric and aurora data was recovered from the satellite.]
