The Eye of Cotor

As payment for unposessing Finbar, Lord Skerlock wanted the crew to acquire an arcane relic called the Eye of Cotor owned by the dimmer sisters in Silkshore. They were recluses that never left their house. There were rumours they were witches with occult knowledge and bathed in blood. Jude learned there were two or three witches and there were sewers under the house. There was a servant Roslyn who dealt with outsiders and another, Eileen, who never left the house. The rumours were that they had many spirits bound to their service and people entering the never left. The witches were enemies of the Spirit Wardens and Reconciles. They had dealt in spirits for decades. The sewer below the house connected to a canal. The eye hummed.

Finbar and Narsissus stole a boat, though they were chased by bluecoats and had to hide. Later the crew took the boat and rowed to the sewers under the dimmer sisters house. As they moored up the water round the boat started freezing and a spirit rose from the water. Finbar dove into the water and swam away in terror. John commanded it to ignore the crew and it slowly sank back into the water.

The crew crept into the house and started searching. A humm was heard from inside a bedroom and figures could be seen through the keyhole. Narsissus blew trance dust through the keyhole then entered the room. A young naked girl was holding the stone. Narsissus took the stone from them while they were in a trance and the crew quickly left.

The eye was given to Lord Skylock who was happy it repaid the debt. Finbar was arrested for the theft of the boat and spent time in Ironhook jail. He had a traumatic experience in the showers during his incarceration.
