Bazzo contacted the crew to say a patron wanted to meet at the old rail yard in Coalridge. In a rusted rail carriage they met Lord Carro Clairmont who worked for the ministry of preservation. He was due to retire in a few months but had fallen into disfavour with the governor who believed he had mismanaged the transport networks. The governor had withdrawn his pension fund. He wanted the crew to help get money in exchange for a cut. A large shipment of gold was being shipped by train to the city in the next few days, guarded by imperial soldiers. He offered to delay the train and provide transportation to wherever the crew decided to perform the heist.
The crew formed a plan to derail the train in the mountains. The major set off explosives and derailed the train but it fell into a gorge. The crew rappelled down to the wreckage. The safe had broken open and the money was scattered. The crew grabbed all the coin they could find and quickly left before too much attention was drawn. Lord Carro was told the crew recovered nothing as the train had crew into the gorge.
