The crew were contacted by Helen, the proprietor of the Silver Stag casino who had a job. She said there was a circus coming to town called Cougar and Darks Pandemonium and Shadow showwhich would be in Ankhayat park in Silkshore. There would be an attraction called Lycanthrope who was known as the man beast. She wanted crew to acquire him. Bowlan wanted no park in the score as he was opposed to slavery.

The rest of the crew crept into the circus where Finbar started cutting the guy ropes as a distraction. In doing so his leg got caught in some ropes and he hurt his leg when the wind made the tent flapped in the wind and dragged him off his feet. Narsissus and Weaver crept in to free the man beast. Narsissus unlocked the cage and let him out but were caught on the way out by bluecoats. The manbeast turned into a wolf and ran off as bluecoats beat them up then dragged Weaver off to jail.
