The Teacup

Rawrick, the Crows leader had been shot, the rumours are that Lyssacthe, 2nd in command of the Crows was responsible. The Lamp blacks and red sashes were trying to take advantage of the chaos to become ward boss, while the Crows foot were trying to regain control. Basso Bass, leader of lamp blacks wanted The So Solid Crew's support committing a heist. They wanted a 50% cut to which the crew agreed. They were sent to the docks to see Throk.

Finbar talked to his contacts and was pointed to a grungy basement under the docks. Throk worked for minister fourteen and arranged a meeting with him. Minister fourteen had a white cane, dark glasses and shabby clothes. With him was a huge bodyguard called Severin, armed with a sword. Minister fourteen spoke with a silly voice. He wanted to get a teacup from the Casaverian tea set and had heard Sirlivicar the Brander had found it. He warned Sirlivicar had an army of rats and could see through their eyes. She was hiding out in Sandwell point, an isolated lighthouse at the docks. She used beggars to guard the lighthouse and they used magical lanterns that could detect nearby lifeforce. She had also bought many padlocks recently.

Narsissus researched the lighthouse. It had been used by smugglers, and there were rumours of an entrance beneath the docks. It had been burned down by the bluecoats to flush out the smugglers. Minister fourteen was involved with the skovlander refugees. Finbar went to scout the lighthouse and found the entrance which was only accessible by boat or swimming. Finbar's friend Gerard was willing to lend a boat in exchange for some coin. The door under the docks was locked but Narcissa expertly picked the locks and opened the door. In the room beyond was several sleeping beggars with lanterns.

The crew crept past. Beyond was a corridor with an ornate doorway at the end. Narissus laid some caltrops covered in standstill poison in the corridor in case the beggars woke. There appeared to be a ghost within the door as some form of guard. Finbar was electrocuted when he tried to attune to the ghost. Narcissus took some time and carefully unlocked the door using her tinkering tools. In the room beyond was several glass cases. Sirlivicar was asleep in a bed, and there was many rats on the floor. Finbar took careful aim and shot her, muffling the gunshot with a pillow. The cup and other valuables were then quickly gathered. The beggars had been woken by the gunshot but had stood on the caltrops when they went to investigate, and were paralyzed.

The cup was handed over to minister fourteen and the other items sold to Fitz. He was picked up to bluecoats and we had to pay them off.
