The red sashes were finally defeated by the lampblacks. The crew recruited Harvey who was previously a member of the red sashes.

One night there was a tremendous storm. Suddenly there was a clap of thunder and a knock on the door to the crews lair. Outside was a woman with jet black hair wearing a purple hooded cloak. She was not wet despite the raging storm. She identified herself as Satyra and said she had a score for the crew who would be rewarded if the succeeded, but punished if they failed. Recognising the name from their previous heist, the crew felt it would not be a good idea to turn her down or fail in the task. She said the behemoth II, leviathan hunter ship moored was at docks. On board were 13 demon stones she wished the crew to acquire. An image of 13 small stones appeared in air before the crew. The leviathon hunter was commanded by an Iruvian called Lady Ankhayrat and was due to leave in a few days. The crew had to obtain the stones before it left. She said the crew could take leviathan blood for themselves. She warned them not to try to attune with the stones. The storm suddenly abated when she left.

Finbar spoke to a friend in the docks about be Behemoth II. It was bound for the city of Bright harbour in Iruvia and leaving in a few days. He got a tour of the Behemoth II on the pretext he was interested in booking passage. The leviathan blood was stored in the hold under guard and the captain kept other valuables in a chest in her cabin. Narsissus read a legend that in the old time before the cataclysm, demons were captured and stored in stones.

The crew bought some Iruvian uniforms and boarded the ship. They blended in then made their way to the captain's cabin. Inside was a chest which Narcissus unlocked. While she was doing so a crewmember knocked at the door. Harvey opened the door and knocked him out. He was then tied up and hid under the captain's bed. Narcissus took the stones and other valuables from the chest and left the leviathan with Jude. The others went to the hold to try to get the leviathan blood. Finbar tried distracting the guards by accusing one of cheating but they started arguing with him rather than each other.

John tried to calm them and got beaten up for his troubles. Harvey then started a fight with them, killing several before he was knocked out. John and Finbar fled. John was captured, while Finbar jumped off the leviathan hunter and escaped after making a devils bargain with Satyra for her help in escaping. Harvey was shanghaied and taken to Iruva, never to be seen again. John was thrown in prison for a few weeks.
