Bazza sent the crew to the Centurali club in Brightstone where someone called Harvel had a score. He said a clients daughter had died recently and had been taken to Bellweather cemetery. Her name was Daphne. He said spirit wardens were keeping some spirits for experimentation and his client believed her spirit was being held in the master wardens estate in Whitecrown. The crew were tasked to retrieve her spirit and return with it. The score would pay 10 coins.

Jude searched the newspapers. He found an obituary of a Daphne Drake who had died recently. The name was immediately recognised as Lady drake is a city magistrate. The crew learned that spirit wardens can capture spirits with an artefact they possessed. The governors home is in Whitecrown and so is patrolled by many bluecoats. Finbar scouted the area and learned there was a gap in the patrols when they changed shifts.

The crew spoke with lord Skerlock. They asked about capturing and storing spirits. Skerlock said the spirit wardens used their bronze masks. They attuned to the mask then compelled the spirit to enter the mask. The spirit was then transferred to a spirit stone where it was stored long term.

The crew waited until the patrols changed shifts then climbed over the wall and entered the mansion through a window which Weaver unlocked. The crew found themselves in a drawing room. Weaver tried to attune to the spirit stones but failed so the crew crept through house looking for the stones. They heard guards talking about checking a spirit vault. Weaver and Narsissus followed the guard and overpowered him though both got injured in the fight. Meanwhile Jude and Finbar were confronted by guards. Jude convinced them he was inspecting serving staff.

Weaver found a key on the unconscious guard which opened the vault. Hundreds of lockboxes were inside. Weaver attuned to the ghost field and determined which stone held the spirit of Daphne. When he took the box he was hit by an electroplasmic discharge. Having obtained the stone they left quickly. The spirit stone was returned to Harvel in exchange for the coin.

Lord Skylock unposessed Finbar in exchange for a future favour and the crew learned an Inspector Sesarith was looking for Weaver after the heist and had found some evidence.
